I’m going with

1. New OC, maybe reports of Mario being more hands off
2. A nice crop of returning upperclassmen
3. Solid to good transfers to bolster glaring holes including QB
4. Reports of defense taking off to another level in Guidry scheme.

As months of not seeing a Cristobal coached team pile on one another, fantasies of 10+ win seasons will creep back in. We might even start off strong in 24 but we will be right back here in November the way this guy manages games.

Who’s ready to fall for it?

Mario was hands off. TVD lost his confidence.
I didnt want Mario when we hired him but some of these narrative are inaccurate.

OP,

The offseason hype train is only good part of being a Miami fan. Don't take that away from us too. It is like walking into the dance seeing the prom queen and thinking to yourself for that one second you have a shot, not realizing in that one moment she will not appreciate your achievements in the chess club.

Players flying around the practice field, everyone is a Greentree All American, trust the process, how you do anything is how you do everything, etc.

I wanted to believe Mario wasn’t as bad on game day as people were saying, but it’s clear he’s sucks at it. What the naysayers said about him is absolutely true. He’ll upgrade your roster but sucks on game day. We can only hope he continues bringing in top talent that you almost can’t lose with. That’s our only chance with this cat.

The firing or resignation of Wario Corchobal is the only thing that will bring a glimmer of hope to a program that has been raped, pillaged and eaten by its own for nearly 2 decades.

it’s gonna be rough

Every thread will be people chiming in with “show me” “I’ll believe it when I see it”

They won’t be wrong of course but may as well just shut down the board then

I don’t know where folks are getting this from. My understanding from reports was Dawson was only coming here if head coach was hands off. From reading between the lines of both interviews post GT, it was Dawson that ran the ball and didn’t kneel. There’s no evidence at all that the sorry *** playing calling or lack of creativity at the goaline is Mario. Dawson calls the plays and there is no evidence contrary to that.
