This line is above average ACC level. That’s it. Last year was special. We’ve been recruiting bad on the interior lately and it showed

OL wins you championships. Last years OL and 2024 was championship level. You have 3 guys who shouldn’t be starting here and 2 of them shouldn’t even be in a Miami uniform. FCS material.

Well that would have allowed them to keep McCoy at G. Seaton and Samson at T, McCoy and Cantwell at G and portal C. Nope not in Mario’s world.

We watched SJ whiff on every block as a fullback last year and decide he gets to start at G this year. Good stuff

This is honestly not an exaggeration either. I literally think he missed on every single block as a fb last year. Just amazing consistency

That tempo inflates numbers imo, but i think we will see way better games from him. The offense went into a shell in the 2nd half

Idk if that Dawson or Mario but someone needs to sack up and keep that foot on the pedal push the ball and make things happen. Going three and out pushing your offense like the first half is one thing but going horizontal on offense and still getting quick 3 and outs is how you let a desperate dawg of a team stay in it

We’re running way more outside zone of any year now, i think that’s one of the main reasons sj is playing so much, because for duo and inside zone id think you let cantwell and Congdon take their lumps. Plus he’s experienced, we are lacking so much there. Guys look so tense and look like the game is going 100mph

My concern is if sj is playing so much then what does that say about what’s behind him. Was the Congdon and Cantwell hype just a smoke screen to imply that we’re a year away on the oline

How in Mario's head could this years OL possibly have been good enough? You lose Francis, Anez, Bell, Brockermeyer to the draft, and add Cantwell and a bunch of scrubs from HS to replace that? It seemed like he barely tried in the portal. Arrogance, overconfidence, pride?

He and Alex ****ed up man. Should have got a center and a guard or tackle and keep McCoy at G. Can’t possibly think 3 of these OL will win you a title.

I think they were counting on Cantwell being ready to start somewhere along the line (possibly SJ being the starting C too). They'd get two tackles from the pool of Samson/McCoy/Cantwell and the third would be a starting Guard. They should have gotten a starting Guard in the portal. Hopefully Cantwell can make a leap and become a starter over the next few games.
