GT vs Tar Heels

The hire of Chip Lindsay is doing this. He wants to be balanced and for the most part it hasn’t really hurt them. His numbers are way down but their offensive output isn’t that much different than last year. Maye’s had 2 bad games. Drops have hurt him as well.

“Waste” is a drastic overstatement. Fact is, this UNC team isn’t as good as they were last year.

Their defense is horrendous (except when playing us). With just a mediocre defense, they would be undefeated. Maye has been just fine.

Exactly. Crazy thing is, I’ve heard rumblings that Chizik was likely gonna be the heir apparent to Mack when they were playing better and it looked like he had finally turned a corner. I highly doubt that’s the case now after the past two weeks. Would be shocked if he’s back next year.

It’s college football. Literally anything can happen and often does.

Miami and GT played a game a month ago that was 0-0 at the half.

Tonight this game was basically 7-on-7, over 1100 yards of offense. What you did last week in college football means ZERO in terms of what you do this week. Just find a way to win every Saturday.
Louisville crushed ND. Pitt thumped Louisville. ND just destroyed Pitt. figure out who the better team is

All I know is that ND beat Pitt 58-7.

The same score we beat them by in 1985.

And while the college football world was bashing UM for running up the score unmercifully, there is nary a complaint about ND's game yesterday.

IF Gt wins tonight then we are almost back in control of our destiny .. would need duke or Clemson to beat UNC as well
We literally could lose all our remaining games.

@N.C State
@fsu
Louisville
@BC

3 of last 4 on road including a top 4 team

Louisville maybe 2nd best team in ACC although they don't play great on road as they do at home

Nc state is a tough physical defense with no offense

BC is much improved with a very dynamic athletic QB

That doesn’t change the fact that we’ll likely control our own destiny

I didn’t say we would in all 4 just said it would be in our hands

We CAN win all 4 of those games though

yeah UNC would have to lose to Duke, Clemson, or NC State. Preferably NC State or Clemson
Some of you are assuming us and UNC finish with the same record for 2nd place and nobody else. A three way tie could nullify that head to head. Lots of football left.

For example, you could have UNC, UL and Miami finish with 2 losses. UNC and UL dont play so if that happened then i guess Miami would go as the highest ranked team?

Smdh here we go. I am going to sleep
They go head to head among the 3.
We would be out at 1-1. Louisville out at 0-1.
UNC goes at 1-0.

IF we’re thrown in a 3-way with UNC, the 3rd team has to be one that UNC has lost to.
