Randomly thought about this and felt compelled to post about it. Seen it mentioned here and there but there was quite a moment in that game that I wanted to see how many on the board experienced and could corroborate.
Q3 is wrapping up and we’re trailing at home. I vaguely remember a lot of **** poor mistakes coming out of the half. But the thing that sticks out more than any single play or series was the downpour which started right as Q4 was getting underway. It was a complete deluge onto the field, and the stands got a fair bit of moisture from a strong wind that just started blowing through the stadium.
And it started what was the most palpable vibe shift I’ve maybe ever felt in a live setting, and it felt like everyone else felt it at the same time too. No idea why or how, but the rain heralded a complete 180 in momentum and performance on our side and we pulled it out to win the game.
Curious who else was there and if I’m retroactively hallucinating with hindsight bias or not.
