GT a factor in D-Line leaving?

In another thread, I posited that Army would be a better than Louisville in a scandal/academic conscious ACC. I though about it after I posted and realized another "diving for the knees option" team would not be good, the ACC already has one in GT.

In the same vein, could the fact that every season Miami has to play Paul Johnson and this offense, one that scares a D-Lineman to death, be a motivating factor in our guys wanting to leave early?

Thoughts?

No.

Sounds like exactly the kind of thing an agent would say to a potential 5-7th round DT to encourage him to declare early.

Yup and the argument about another year closer "to that 2nd contract bro"

even though 3/5 of all of them will be replaced by new 4-7th rounders who are now cheaper

I don't know about the D Line, but I'm leaving this thread early...because of GT.

Should spend the first dozen plays diving on the back of the nearest O-linem’s hamstring and then rolling his frogging ankles. Make them think twice about exposing their back side diving for those knees. Worth a few penalties.

An old high school coach of mine taught me something similar to stop a fullback from constantly going low at my legs (i was an outside linebacker). It could have been considered a bit dirty (though not much different than what he was doing) and it worked.

I'm actually surprised more Dlinemen don't take shots at time. I think there's a respect factor when playing an armed forces team, but not GT. With how the game has changed to protect players, i'm surprised cut blocks haven't been scrutinized more.
