Greatest Kick In Canes History?

The 20 points in that first game vs Florida were the most points we gave up all year.

Our 2 loses were @ #2 Texas by 1 score and @ a ranked Mississippi State.
Kelly had a go-ahead TD pass @MSU wiped out on a bullshet motion call late in the 4th.

The 'Canes were a solid team in '81.
We finished ranked #8.

Phantom call against Texas negated a touchdown as well. By the end of the season Miami was the best team in the country. The 81 team is our most underrated defense, period.
 
It was such a big kick against the Gator. The lead in was the pregame story. It was the revenge game after Howard kicked a late field goal to go up 31-7 the year before in Gainesville. He was ****ed because students were throwing stuff at our bench. Everybody had their helmets on throughout the 4th quarter. Pales in comparison to the Flop.
 
Jorge Gaitan’s onside kick to open 1998 FSU game was awesome.

Covington with had a beautiful pass but Santana dropped that touchdown.

Sievers was ice.
There was a game in 2003, can’t remember who, but we went for the XP and had 3-4 consequences penalties.
Sievers kept backing up and kicking them through. Last one had to be the longest XP ever in college.
 
Jeff Davis' kick to beat FSU in 1983. It was a chip shot at 19 yards, but he had missed two previous kicks in the game; and yet, he clutched it through to win the game.

Without it, no Orange bowl aganist Nebraska for the National Championship, and no dynasty in the 80's.
