They struggled in pass protection but they were consistent running the ball. Even if you take away the ridiculous game they had against us, they're still moving the ball the ground at a pretty decent clip.
Imagine thinking a team that averaged 236 YPG rushing (11th in the country) and 5.75 YPC (6th in the country) has a pool Offensive Line LMAOOOOOOOO.
Oh, they only had 35 rushing TDs too. 3rd best number in America.
And that's even with the 210 yards lost on sacks, which was 10th worst in the entire country.
Yes, they gave up a lot of sacks. It happens when you run the 6th most plays in the country and have a young QB who pilots a vertical passing attack. But, for the love of Christ, a team who has TWO backs with over 150 carries and they both are over 7 yards a carry is doing pretty well up front.
Searles is fine. But, as always, it's scheme and players. You paired him here with Mark Richt. To put him in the same breath as an OC in this day and age with Phil Longo is criminal.
