granny Cook speaks again

"insiders" on 247 crystal ball most of the time go off of what they hear form the coaching staff. We know that kids tell coaches what they want to hear. ALLOT of times kids succumb to pressure during official visits and say things to make the coaches happy but when NSD comes its a different story.

In this case, I am going off of what Pete said not too long ago.. everyone around Cook thinks its FSU, not .. "we don't know" etc but a specific school.

Alex Collins lied to his own mother for a fat white guy that early resembles that schools mascot.

Yeah, but Alex Collins got what he wanted. An outstanding freshman year, uninjured, and barring injuries, he'll be on his way to the league in a few short years. At the U, he would have had to share time with the Duke. Unlikely he would have been the featured back like he was at Arkansas. Everybody here was talking about all the other outstanding backs Arkansas was recruiting but Collins was THE man there.

Came close to splitting carries with sophomore Jonathan Williams. Here's the stats:

Collins 190 carries / 1,026 yards / 5.4 ypc / 4 tds
Williams 150 carries / 900 yards / 6.0 ypc / 4 tds

Just for fun:

Duke 145 carries / 920 yards / 6.3 ypc / 6 tds
Crawford 126 carries / 523 yards / 4.2 ypc / 12 tds
Gus 54 carries / 300 yards / 5.6 ypc / 4 tds

The man in a **** state on one of the worst teams in all of NCAA football. Lost their last 9 games. He could have had close to what he had at Redneck state at Miami. Running backs always get nicked up or injured. Nothing worse playing when you are not 100%. Nothing wrong with sharing the backfield with somebody else. NFL stands for Not For Long. Always better to put less mileage on your body while you can.

This Collins guy............can go **** himself

and his snake oil salesman of a coach can die choking on a pig ****.

David and Chris of 247 are still predicting this will be a cane, so until they change like they did with dixon I will remain optimistic

Those guys studied under Bakas's wing. They'll flip around a few times and then claim they were right next year when no one remembers what they actually said.

Wonder what Granny Cook thinks of some bald dude from Duke as Florida's OC? ESPN reporting it's a done deal to be announced later this week.

Losing Collins hurt. When Duke got hurt, Collins could have had a chance for fame. He did get what he wanted. But NFL is starting to take note of the whole "wear on the tires" thing. Although, I am sure Collins will get drafted. Not getting Cook will not hurt as bad. We have a great recruit RB already plus an outstanding RB in Powell.

collins got beat into the ground. fell off in sec play. no true freshman should get the amount of carries he got.

Da'Vante Phillips' decommitment comes days before Dalvin Cook's announcement. Both have strong desire to attend same school. Not good for UF
...

@Safid_Deen:

Just confirmed with Miami Central WR Da'Vante Phillips that he has indeed decommitted from UF. @MsAmyCampbell first reported the news.
