Recruiting classes may not bare this out yet (honestly haven’t been as up to date on recruiting last 2 years), but the spirits have told me there’s a connection there.

NIL and portal have def started to bring parity. Now ALL teams have ways to pay for talent w/o getting in trouble and kids don’t have to ride the bench waiting for an opportunity.

Bottom line - acquiring and retaining talent is not as monopolized as it was.

Yeah cant just stack man in the backups and bring them in when another team has figured out your starters. Also it is being shown that coaching matters, coordinators specifically. And the SEC is not the only conference now dropping money on their staff like past years.
