No, I am not a Malik fan and never have been; far from it. And yeah, there are reasons to play Perry (or even Jarren “soon”) or punt Richt (maybe a nice Feagles shank). And yes, Malik has been given appreciation and due credit for some FSU theatrics and other good outcomes.

But how incredibly hard must it be to stay on the sidelines and root team and Perry on, when Malik was forced to do that recently. Maybe he was thinking (like Sis) “is this what you want” when things soured, but he reportedly did not show it or act it. My hat is out to him for that, and so I wish him Godspeed and great good luck on Friday to beat this yappy BC crew.

I’m all for Perry being our future but there won’t be anyone rooting harder for Malik to succeed this Friday than me.

He gave us two of our biggest wins in ages last year and if he’s our leader this week then dammit that’s who we pull for

Always appreciated Malik for what he did; 10 wins and the Coastal. He's a competitor with his 25-cent ability, he played a dollar game heart-wise at times, and no one was able to beat him out, aside from a short experiment, still can't. Why? Because the other QBs are failing the program via rotating suspensions, and not being ready to take over a D-1 program. QB Coach can wear that responsibility too.

With that said, once they pulled him, I figurered that was it. Even seeing how horrible Perry played first hald FSU and then the INTs against VA, I had a sinking feeling when Malik came back on the field. I figured his confidence has been drug through the mud. Still he ran for a TD (Perry doesn't have that), and may have had some of that last year early season magic had we not taken that dumb *** penalty.

I'm rooting for him to play well in Boston and hopefully lead us to another coastal crown and 10 win season.

There's a lot of folks who believe the remainder of this season is meaningless but we can't afford to crumble. Hurts crootin' bro.
This. End of day, the goal is to win, regardless who is at QB.

**** even Belvin Jordan made a similar comment today in an interview.

Come on Malik, ******* get it done. I am a fan and if he give us the best shot, I will be rooting for him.

At this point of the season just give me 10 wins with a nice bowl win against a quality opponent to be able to springboard to the 2019 season...

Rosie for now then Jarren to finish up the season with good quality reps without burning his shirt
