Dillard was cleared and will be at practice tomorrow. The staff can focus in all of their attention on keeping Collins and then that should be it at the position for this class, instead of having to worry about keeping Collins AND adding another. Get Sony in 2014 and you are looking at this in 2 years:

Juniors
Duke Johnson
Danny Dillard (most likely will RS, so he could be a Soph.)

Sophomore
Alex Collins

Freshmen
Sony
Maybe 1 more

And Dallas Crawford will be a senior. Not a true RB, but adds depth if needed

PA, Can you do a comparison of Dillard with AJ Turman? For some reason, i have the two of them as comparable backs in my mind.

duke, collins, and sony on one team is just stupid talent at running back. dont know if it will happen but that would be crazy

Dillard gonna suprise some folks

I saw him play against Manatee they stuffed him pretty well. Didn't look real fast or strong, i think he red shirts unless something bad happens.

Things could change if he works real hard.

Don't know much about Dillard, but I think he is coming in as a specialist. I don't think the coaches have expectations of him ever being a main ball carrier or an every down back. I think he is a compliment to Duke. He hits the hole hard and has great burst and size.

We shall see

people keep saying Dillard as a FB but I don't see it. The body type I guess, but the skill set, not at all. Looks like a very poor man's Eddie George
