I know we typically devote this place to celebrities and such, but there’s no bigger celebrity to me than my mom, whom I lost a little over a month ago on Nov. 16th. People ask me every day if I’m doing any better. With each passing day the loss becomes a little easier to accept, but I don’t think you ever truly get over losing your parents. My mom….gone too soon.

So sorry for your loss

Definitely takes time to get little easier

Going on three years losing my mom and dad four months apart

Yea it’s been a rough couple of years for me. I lost my dad last September suddenly to an aneurysm and never really got the chance to say goodbye. Then, I just lost my mom a month and a half ago. She was on hospice and I kept visiting her every day until she eventually went peacefully in her sleep. They call it “transitioning”, but it’s rough having to watch your loved one slowly die. I’m sorry for your loss also and I know how you feel. This was a very difficult Christmas for me, but my my wife and kids(and dog) have been a blessing.

Lost my dad 12 years ago. While it may get easier a day doesn't go by that I don't think about home multiple times. Remember the good memories that helps. I laugh now when I catch myself doing something just like Dad did. Or I say something that sounds like it came from him. My heart breaks for you.
