Golden's training camp line....

"Yearby is fine. Doing everything we asked him to do. What happened to him was a personal matter but we are excited about what Joe brings to our offense"

(Meanwhile Yearby is running 5th string behind some walk-on throughout Fall camp)

"Has our defense changed? I would say No. I think our players are picking up the schemes better. We have always been multiple. I don't know where this rumor came in that we run a 3-4. We are a multiple defense and with over 20 defensive guys returning from our 2 deep, we can finally see the results."

(Meanwhile we are still running a 3-4 scheme 80% of fall ball)

"Our kids worked their tails off all offseason. I like what I am seeing. I feel the energy. They are really ready to show what they can do? Are we going to miss some of the guys we lost and take a step back? Don't tell that to Brad Kaaya who has been organizing team BBQs and beach runs every weekend. Don't tell that to Tracey Howard who has been working hard all offseason and is a senior and knows this is his last chance. These kids are ready to show what they can do and as long as they ignore the noise, stay in the bunker, execute to the best of their ability, we will be fine. I promise you that."

(Meanwhile....never mind. I give up...smh)

Not sure about training camp but after every loss I expect to hear endless references to the guys we "lost to the NFL" and how young we are (again)

I got 96 guys in there all believing were not listening to the outside. I think Jim Jones said the same thing in Jonestown

If Jimbo is your Daddy again you wont have to listen to the outside noise because you'll be outside!

"We're getting close"

By that he sets himself up for failure and an excuse when we don't win.

"Well I think we have a solid base. It took longer then usual to get that base put into place with the cloud. Now we can really start working for what we all expect here at the University of Miami."

In addition to hearing the regular coaches speak, I for one cannot wait to hear he obnoxious beeps of machines baking up and turbo speed golf carts during interviews.
