Win a national championship or at least blow out the oppenent in a Bcs, or what use to be the bcs games. And the reason Miami didnt should be because the other 4 teams ahead of them had a better (or same record) and a tougher schedule.

He should have been fired last summer. If he really does coach us this upcoming season it will be one of the worst environments surrounding the program since the 70's.

He needs to be fired at all costs. He doesn't belong at a big program and is in over his head. The fact we play in such a ****** conference scares me since he could easily luck his way into a 8 win season and the inept, incompetent morons running our program would cite that as "improvement" and give him more time.

Root for losses and/or Golden to get hit by a truck. Unfortunately that's where we're at.

I think everyone on here that has dealt with me nows I'm a FSU fan, but they also know that my nephew is Shavar Manuel who is someone miami is recruiting and I mostly just give updates about him and his recruitment

The reason I asked is to see how the fans would feel about Golden and how fans feel admin would react after Golden showed some progress on the field and with the recruiting class for 2016, If Shavar does come to miami we want him to be coming to a stable program and one with the fans and admin all on the same page as the football program

The only way we wins 10 games is by completely scrapping his defense and playing the kind of D we should be playing. Since he won't do that we have nothing to worry about.

Golden is doing a decent job of stacking talent he just can't develop it. unless he learns this year, we won't win and he'll be gone.

Agree that he is stacking chips. However I disagree on the statement that he can't develop talent but yet he will have 6 players gone in the draft by the 3rd round.

Dorsett and Walford are the most developed. I'll give shear size and natural ability coupled with Kehoe's experience for Flowers. Gunter is a 6'2 CB that's what the NFL looks at these days. Duke and DP are special talents they'd develop into what they are no matter the coach imo.

developing isn't the problem. he doesn't know how to properly utilize the talent he has. Its coaching...that's his weakness.

As long as we keep seeing these dumb "what if" threads and guys keep dreaming up scenarios where they'll forgive Folden and reattach to his nuts, the real movement to get him out will never succeed.

The development argument against Golden is simply not true at this point. He can develop talent and that's been proven by this past year's class and this year's class. Saying Gunter is wanted by the NFL because of his size is an easy argument but that doesn't take away from the fact that he was a two star JUCO. NFL also wants 6-2 350 NT's but D Smith couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. So there was absolutely some development.

However, Golden has no clue how to maximize the talent on the field. Chick is an obvious example of that. Using a 4 man U or O front with McCord at SAM and Grace at WILL, UK/Chick at the closed DE and AQM/Thomas at the open would've made this defense lethal. That's Golden's issue, not Development.

Golden deserves a ton of criticism and shouldn't be here anymore but just because we all want him out doesn't mean that he sucks all across the board. You gotta be a little bit objective which is tough after a horrible year.

Yeah, Ill say Golden can develop talent. he just cant develop enough talent for a big time program. He developed talent at a smaller program like Temple and did well. Sadly Temple isnt Miami. So like coordinators that cant cut it as a head coach, Golden cant cut it in a school like Miami.
