Goldens given up on practice

Ahh...so Canes are beginning to confront the full unmitagated horror of our situation as it is clear the BOT is complicit in this donkey parade of mismanagement. Next season could set a record for losses in a single season since 1980.

New banner "Fire the BOT!"

I Blame Richard Fain and the vaginas on the BOT more than fat al at this point.

Fck this BoT right in the p[]_[]say

I believe we went 4 and 7 under Carl Selmer in 1975 or 76. Hard to fathom we would sink this low again.

And then we hired a proven, superbowl winning coordinator, NFL Head Coach who cut his teeth under a legend and who was massively respected in South Florida. We need to do it again.

and the longer the BOT take to do what must be done the farther we fall behind in finding a new staff and the more time we lose recruiting

deserve ****tiness lol. that should be the new motto. this must expect to show up and win. what a joke

So golden bends us over during the scandal toget a huge buyout/extension.

PSU comes calling, and Miami stupidly refuses to negotiate on the buyout, so PSU passes not wanting to spend all that bread just for the right to hire Golden.

Then Golden shows his true colors by stinking it up worse than Randy in year 4, then totally checks out, and gives a big **** you to the U by forcing them to fire him and pay his buyout.

Last year they should have read the tea leaves after the bowl and moved on when they had a chance.

Isn't this what most schools do for bowl games? The players do get some time off.

Not two weeks. Not leaving the start of bowl practices open-ended. He's looking for a way out. Getting fired or finding another job.

I would rather he be out there recruiting, honestly. National Signing Day is more important to me than some garbage bowl game.

That won't be a popular opinion but I'm thinking of the future.

So the reason al folden is not at penn state now is because psu didn't want to pay his buyout? It makes since, golden doing everything he can to get out of Miami and get that buyout money.

You're kidding, right? A losing season is gonna help recruiting?

I think it was probably a big part of why the didn't hire him. The buyout did what it's supposed to do: make your coach less desirable to other schools by penalizing them financially for taking him from you.

Whether it's 5 or 8 mil, PSU is know for being cheap. As much as they liked Al, they liked James Franklin too and Franklins buyout was either less or negotiated down. Simple choice at that point for PSU.

When your AD is a powerless hermaphrodite, this kinda **** happens. A powerful AD would have seen that situation as an opportunity for us to get a better coach by negotiating a smaller buyout, realizing that Al was being wayyy overvalued.

To be fair, I don't think PSU even wanted Golden. Especially when they had their choice of him and Franklin. Franklin's best season at Vanderbilt matched Golden's at Miami. One plays in the SEC, the other is Miami.

All the data necessary was there after VTech and Duke. I wrote a long *** post about "Louisville is Golden and crew's last opportunity to show they can do more with less, as they'll have a month to prepare." We **** the bed. I really don't think PSU wanted him, so we should have paid PSU to take him. ****, that's not hindsight. Many on here were praying he'd leave.

This is a true cluster**** at this point.

Butch Davis likes to f**k clusters.

How much was franklins buyout? I think penn state didn't hire him because they thought james franklin was a better coach and franklin could sell himself better

At what point does his incompetence cross the line and become negligence and void any buy out? In just 12 months my attitude has gone from optimism to hope to depression to apathetic to anger and resentment...

Words cannot describe my hate for this fat pos and UM's **** sucking AD, Pres. & BOT.

I feel bad for these players...
