We've been on this end of the stick before. Oh, man -- many, many times, under Bo Pelini. UCLA, Ohio State, Wisconsin, those guys and more took us to the 'shed, as we did tonight.

Good game to you guys. I saw a Miami team that appeared to be talented, well-coached, and bringing the heat all night. I'm looking forward to the rematch next year. And, maybe I'm biased, but you guys simply got beat by a very good Nebraska team that is hitting on all cylinders right now. It's been a long road for us to get here, but with the veteran leadership we have now, this Huskers team is on another level compared to previous years.

So, keep your heads up and stay with it. You might be here in a few seasons, too. That freshman QB of yours has impressive poise, and an OL willing to fight for him.

Don't congratulate us. I honestly expected better from your Huskers. The fact is, you only beat us by 10. Any FBS team should be able to beat us by at least 21 in their own house.

Lol

Defense is filled with a bunch of softies that just cant wait to declare for the draft..recruited by this coaching staff but represented only by the names on their backs..

Answer the ? ******, who recruited these sorry players?

What is the purpose for saying Al Golden and the coaching staff recruited them??! They still have to go out and play the **** game and not get ran over, thru and around every play.

Who is ultimately more accountable for on-field performance? Players or coaches?

Dumbest question of the night goes to!....*drum roll* ^^^^
You can coach or corch all you want but if players decide to o-lay tackles and arm tackle the whole game that rest on the players shoulders buddy

When a Fortune 500 company under-performs, is the minimum wage worker on the hook, or the CEO?

You guys are getting trolled by that ****** MdCanesFan. Either that or a functional ****** that knows nothing about football. Either way stop replying to him

Fck up pee brain..what do you know about football besides knowing theres a video game on next-gen consoles that allow you to play it?! Instead of replying with something to prove im a "functional ******" that knows nothing about football you call me a troll and urge people to stop replying to me..gtfoh you F.A.G. lls
Oh uh, the functional ****** is upset.

Uhh yes I am a tad bit upset, upset that my team played like how you talk ****..behind a keyboard and CPU screen..real ***-like

None of us want to hear this...

Hey, just trying to bring some perspective. UCLA put something like 650 yards on us. A 7-5 Wisconsin team in 2012 scored 70 and rushed for who knows how many yards. There are bad days, and there are good days. We flipped out, too.

For us, this was a **** good day. You guys will have better ones. Cheers!

He righted the ship? He had two players commit sexual assault, he couldn't keep Olsen from doing dumb ****, his best DLineman kicked his roommates ***, and his team almost had another brawl. Yeah he is doing a great job at righting the ship.

Ah, well, it wasn't that close. ;)

Hope you enjoy empty stadiums.

Man they made it clear from the first drive that they were going to run it all game long and what do we do? We decide to play 2 high safetys ALL game long. That's football 101 man, they ran it on us multiple ways and yet we stay with 2 high. Deflect all you want, I won't blame the kids when they aren't in a position to succeed right off the bat.

We failed schematically on defense.

We were at a deficit at most positions as far as S&C.

We had more talent on the field offensively, but failed to use it.

There was little in the way of leadership on the field or from the sidelines... We were corchless, much less coachless.

I think we have some great kids in the... Well, it's not really a program if there's no growth and development... But I think there's talent, untapped and undeveloped but it's there...

Md has a point, but only to a point. The team takes on the reflection of the coaching it receives. Yeah, they missed tackles, didn't set the edge, didn't get off blocks...or do anything fundamentally sound. So, yeah, the players ****ed up...over and over. But, the coaching staff is failing to get the players to play anywhere near the level that they're capable of playing, and they're failing to keep the players from ******* up. A well-coached team will at least be fundamentally sound, even if they lose games to better teams. That is not us.

I understand that but once you go through reps at practice and in the film room and in the weight room then you come on saturday and just show up when does it become the players fault?! And i KNOW these coaches are trying to prepare these kids the best they can. What was the one repetitive thing every player echoed this offseason? "We trust the scheme and we trust the coaches"

Their best is not good enough.

Not a Golden supporter but are you kiddin me?! All that "ra-ra" bullsh!t the players out there doing and they play like horse **** and youre trying to blame Golden. They averaged 8 yards every 1st fckin down dumbass..Al Golden cant coach and run on the field and tackle Abdullah too..these players played like a$$ straightup..

Safeties 15 yards off the ball all game in a game where they ran for 350 yards on us. No adjustments whatsoever. What the **** game were you watching guy?

Every time the safety came up he would completely whiff on his assignment and be on the other side of the play..tf you talking about GUY? our players are A$$ and idgaf what you say about coaching, x's n o's, n allat cause half of you's only play Madden n think you know about football. But watching this I KNOW now that our players just aren't good enough right now. There were no adjustments needed from coaching you put 8 in the box SOMEbody gotta make a **** tackle..*arm tackles* *whiff on their run gap* *not shedding blocks* cmon bruh lets be serious it doesn't take coaching x's n o's to really see what happened this game. Our team got punched in the mouth
Kill yourself

O-M-G..you guys gotta be thee worse observers ever..Dallas Crawford was the single high safety for **** near the whole second half..he started doing so in the 2nd qtr..now lemme say this, the 3-4 places 7 in the box already, Armbrister is crashing down anyway so regardless how far he is from the LOS he is still playing the box..when you play the 3-4 with a single high safety that means the other safety is down in the box which gives the defense how many players in the box now class...?! cmon man stop giving these sorry *** defensive players an excuse..they played like ****.
7 in the box? Shut up. We split the OLBs who are supposed to set the edge out on WR every play. Just stop
