So excited mane

“We were a defenseless sitting duck the past three seasons,” as Golden put it Tuesday, carving out a few minutes for the media.

“In all the years these [latest recruits] were contemplating where they’d go to college, thinking about it, there was nothing but turmoil here.”

All of this has been a legitimate reason why the program hasn’t accelerated more than it has, but it is always a fine line between explanation and excuse. The NCAA probe has given Golden a sort of extended honeymoon here; with a legitimate caveat, a “yeah, but,” following any criticism.

Now Golden, 44, is finally beginning to work on a level playing field.

Now we begin to fairly judge him without shackles or excuses.

“It feels great,” he said. “But were not relaxing. We’re building. Growing.”

Cote is a dinosaur and a hack and this thread is a joke. Ever since the Cloud dissipated we've done nothing but hemorrhage recruits.

He needs to shut the **** up about that ****. Yeah, you were dealt a bad hand. We get it. You're in year four and I could give a **** what problems you faced. No past problem justifies giving up 500 yards to any team with a pulse, losing regularly to almost every team with an above .500 record and coming up like some daisy ****** in the bowl game. Al, I still support you cause you're the coach, but for Christ's sake shut the **** up about the NCAA **** and figure out a way to get this team where they need to be.

Where the **** was this statement after the PSU fiasco. Could've eased minds earlier than the days before NSD

This is the siht he said last year. Right?

Is this an old thread?

Tell me this isn't recent!

Level playing field? The only way he'll get a level playing field is if Obama does an executive order to shift all college football coaching staffs by random selection.
