Don't like what he said about Morris. Still seems like Morris is somewhat hampered by this ankle. Ugh....

Didn't say a whole lot.

(on being top 10)
- need to keep the bunker mentality..more or less same as all recent interviews
- team will be tested against UNC
(on Morris)
- working on getting Morris healthy
- thankful it is a night game so he get's extra rest
- keeping him off his feet the next couple days but he has been practicing well
(ACC in top 25)
- can't speak for other programs, but Va Tech has been doing it's thing for 15-18 years, Dabo has Clemson in a good spot the past few years, and Jimbo won the ACC last year
- says he hopes that now Miami can be up there with those teams competing for ACC ships
(national spotlight on Thursday)
- great stage for the program
- team needs to come out and take care of business as UNC will be ready and it will be a tough environment

I'm done worrying about Morris' ankle, either because he can play on it, and we can win with it not being 100%, or because it's going to be a problem for the rest of the season and there is not problem worrying about it, or because Golden is playing games with UNC.

Was there a negative slant on the Morris ankle talk?

Golden had indicated that the bye week had gotten Morris back to neutral. Although, of course, we'd heard that before and on game day, Morris is hopping around.

**** that slow, leaping *** SSU lineman.

Morris has a high ankle thing like Perryman suffered with last year. Clearly.

If he walks from the FSU and VT games not reinjuring his ankle it will be a miracle, but don't think he will make it through the year unfortunately. Williams is definitely going to get some burn.

Savannah State was a bigger game than we thought.

exactly...although its hindsight...Morris should have played 1 series and coached the rest of the night

Yeah and should've held the clipboard until gt. Now going into the meat of the schedule this is going to be pesky issue

If you look at the highlights v. USF, I think it's the one where Golden chest bumps him, some other players keep bumping him and he monetarily loses it and tells them to get off of him. His ankle was and is a lot worse than any of us probably think.

Lol, are you the resident doctor?

He should never have been hit against SSU. He wasn't on the same page with the receivers, so he was holding on to the ball too long. He's looked better the last couple of games, but the ankle seems to be hindering him when he tries to plant his foot.
