immediately referenced the 2016 class and how strong it is before getting to the 2015 class. Referenced the 2016 class several other times during the interview.

Hyped up Norton, which is to be expected since he is a local Jacksonville guy. Also noted Owens from last year and how pleased they were with him.

Explained the lack of South Florida recruits in the class by saying we needed to get bigger. Stated we needed to get bigger and therefore had to travel around the country to find bigger players. Stated this several times. Then stated you typically never want to have six offense of lineman in a class, but due to the sanctions and our numbers being low on the offense of line we had to do so.

Golden only focuses on size. That line about needing to get bigger says it all. Doesn't care whatsoever about speed and athleticism, which shows how inept and out of touch with reality he truly is.

Forget Jalen Julius (Ole Miss), Javarius Davis (Auburn), and a host of others who can absolutely fly. They're too small for this staff, so they had no interest.

What a joke. We were once known for being incredibly fast and now we're 1990 Penn State south.

he wanted bigger players and never looked at the DE kid from Reagan who turned down Narduzzi and inked with Ole Miss this morning. Curtis is the last name IIRC.

give him another year for no reason and then fire him once we get blown out by really bad teams

We never have big players down here...we have speed, athleticism, and nastiness. that's why everyone flocks to the south. too bad this fool can't realize this.
 
This guy can't keep his lies straight. Told QAM they recruit South Florida as hard as possible. Tells JAX radio he avoided South Florida to get bigger players. Congrats, *******. You have one WR in the class when you were looking to sign three.

IMO this was the class who could have put Miami on the map offensively and golden f'd it all up. Williams, Cronk, Walton, and Javarius Davis could have all been canes if Golden would have did the simple things. At this point even if he loses just 3-4 games next year he should be out the door.

Yeap, Donna finally got her Big 10 coach she wanted with Barry. Donna and AL need to go to B 10 where cows more plentiful and get out of the land of race horses.
 
Just heard him on wqam. Not sure who was worse Golden or the clowns interviewing him.
