Golden is STILL one of the Top 10 recruiters in country

He is a good salesmen, the problem is he has hired a bunch of poor salesman to his staff and the product they are all selling is not good right now.
 
He kinda is he just went 6-7 and convinced a couple kids to sign on hes a great bull****ter he can sell raid to a roach that's just what he does....

If he wins game he looks less like a used car salesman and more like a Wall Street broker.
 
No, he's not. Playing for the Univ of Miami, staying home, living in the city of Miami, etc. THAT'S what's recruiting these players. That and the prospect of a new coach in 2016 (BUTCH!) LULZ at the thought that Golden is pulling all these guys in spite of the 6-7 record. Sheeeeiiiit.
 
Scarlett was the most impressive "recruiting" Golden did during the season and we see how that played out

Lemming has always been Golden slurper. A few years back he said Golden had Nick Saban potential on the recruiting trail.
 
Tom was always a fan of Al. That being said,I think it was obvious that he isn't recruiting as well as expected. Outside of Walton and Mcintosh none of the top prospects from south Florida wanted anything to do with him. Al is an okay recruiter. Can he prove something before any more proclamations? This guy hasn't proven anything yet he continues to be described as being "good" at things. We even have people on here say "he get players notice for the league". No he doesn't. It's the U on the helmet that gets the attention and if we continue with more losing seasons the prestige of that will go away.

He is a very good recruiter, but the problem is that he isnt producing on the field, you can be the best recruiter and work your *** off to get kids but in the end if you are not winning they will not go to your school

If he was such a good recruiter, he wouldn't of been bleeding recruits. Plus he is not getting the recruits in the area that made Miami.

What leads you to believe this? He spent 4 years relying on the players and commits from the previous coach. The majority of his recruits haven't done anything yet or either dismissed. What points to him being a very good recruiter?

Stuff i have heard from coaches and players, the guy can sell and he is relentless, but at the end of the day its the product on the field that pushes kids away not his recruiting or lack there of
