I don't want Stoops to leave UK, as that's my home state and that's the best UK can do.
However, he'd be great at Miami. Very good recruiter and developer of talent. For the first time UK looks like an SEC team, which they didn't even when they were successful under Rich Brooks.
Stoops is also great at marketing the program. He is the reason for the increased attention in KY to the football program. Unlike Al Golden, he doesn't make excuses.
Like I said I want UK and Miami to be great, so I'd like for Miami to find a different coach. But I have zero doubt that Stoops would do a great job, on and off the field at the U. Fans would love him. Area high school coaches would love him. Players would love him, and play hard for him.
