He was trying to get him in to find a consistent rhythm with the line, play calling and receivers... I get it. That feast or famine **** that happened yesterday is not sustainable and isn't good for the big picture.

And more so, the true freshman needs as much game experience before heading to Lincoln as possible

he went for the kill. they scored one last TD against our 2nd string and with nebraska coming up, i think it was smart to start resting guys. i am not attacking him after this game.

Golden has no killer instinct anyway. Up 27 in the 3rd quarter against a team who could beat up our backups, you leave the starters in and put the ****ing game away. Quit coaching like such a ****.
Maybe he pulled them because we do play Nebraska next week. You'd be the same guy who call him an idiot had Kaaya tore his ACL if he'd never been pulled.

No i wouldn't. That's the game. Golden doesn't know how to put a team away, a team that had chances to make this game very close.

I like how the development of Miami's QB is secondary to the feelings of the Arkansas St. football team. Why get the true freshman as many reps as possible going into a hostile road environment, especially considering how he did the last time out in one? No, what's important is showing class and sportmanship (shoutout to Corrine Brown) to the people of Pig's Knuckle, Arkansas or whatever backwoods hellhole that university is located in.

and if someone gets hurts in a blowout bc he was left in there too long right before Nebraska, wed kill him post game for that decision. u wanna leave those games without a major injury.

Don't care about anything he says anymore, it is the doing that matters now. You could and maybe should have left your true freshman in his third whole game in for all the live rep he can get, or if you want to sit him, let's see the other guy -- you know the 4* recruit we thought would be the future. Ether one would have been fine. Heaps seems like a good guy but he did get beat out by a true freshman on campus only a couple weeks. If Olsen has indeed gotten his act together, it would have been nice to see some game action.

Or he put them back in because a quick 3 and out would give Ark State and chance to get within 2 scores with plenty of time left.
