Don’t hate the guy. He ate a bullet for us. is not a gifted football mind but if he’s learned his own limitations (doubt it), could be fine somewhere that doesn’t matter. Eating UF, even that terrible UF team, was one of our better moments of the 2010s.

Connecticut filled with safeties who run 4.9 forties, D'Onofrio is going to EAT. Might even get a South Florida kid or two...probably still some coaches down here who owe him a favor for getting Robert Knowles and Larry Hope scholarships.

Yea I think that was like his sophomore film. He barely played after that. He was just always hindered by injuries. Even here, he was always hurt. If healthy, he would have been special. But he has his degrees. That’s a winner in my book

Thank you! I agree 💯 with you. They love narcissists. That man lied and exaggerated his challenges. He actually got a lot of support from the admin. All he did was turn UM into a reality tv show. Then he tried to get the Penn Stare job, he should not have ever had the UM job. How you barely scrapping by .500 but want another p5 gig. He tried to sneak into PSU.
Didn’t Drew Rosenhause also imply that he and his staff bad mouthed the UM players who opted leave early for the 2012 draft?
This man did all this and people still advocate for him.
 
Golden is a decent Talent evaluator and developer, put a lot of quality players in the NFL while he was here.

We really haven't been putting a lot of NFL impact players since he left that aren't transfers, GR15 is pretty much it and did we really develop him? He played one season

Bad Idea. Most retreads don't work out. And this guy never showed even a hint of self-reflection or awareness for years after he left Miami. Everything was Miami's fault because of the Shapiro situation. He's been working that tale like The Giving Tree. Al Golden is a total bum.
