Golden a Nebraska candidate bc of Pelinis recruiting woes

I am just going to delude myself and pretend like this could really happen, because one, I would like to sleep sometime tonight and two, I really like caring about college football.

In any case, I think this is a great fit for Nebraska. Allow me to explain why, Nebraska:

- Coach Golden brings the type of values Tom Osbourne left behind. He'll build a strong foundation of pillars for your program.

- With Nebraska's resources, Coach Golden could overcome the inherent limitations that kept him from greatness at a small, grimy football school like Miami.

- As far as Xs and Os, Golden's style is a good fit for their conference. He has shown that, with big mauling DLinemen, he can potentially get results. This is the conference that produced JJ Watt! Nebraska + Golden's recruiting could be excellent.

- Miami was his first big time gig and he learned everything he had to learn about expectations. He's cut his teeth already.

- The recruiting region of Nebraska is better suited than Miami's shady wars.

- Did you see how he navigated Miami through a "Cloud" so serious that some had mentioned the Death Penalty? In a high-class organization like Nebraska, the sky is the limit.

Nebraska, it's your move.

I see you, Lu.

I see you.

It's incredible to think but if Golden just beats the last two scrub teams we played, especially in light of the media goodwill from the FSU game, he may just have been on NE's short list.

I was way more upset about UVA than FSU. I had hope he'd get hired away.

But he went full Gltuens and ****ed that up.

Article starts by listing Pelinis poor recruiting as the reason he got canned.

It then went on to chalk up Goldens 6-6 record because of his strong recruiting and B1G ties.

You find what you're looking for I suppose.

That article must be a prank from The Onion. I can't believe that a major program would be interested in Golden after his failure at UM. But, stranger things have happened. One can only hope.

Who is to say this deal wasn't worked out bn agents before our last two games?

On the same day Miami nearly killed a giant, Wisky beat. Nebraska 24-59.
My bet is Pelini was fired post game and the search began.

Nebraska fan I work with says that al is a great coach and that any other coach would be 4-8 at Miami. I just nodded my head and told him yea y'all should hire him. Please

Conceivable. I choose to believe this.
