That said there is no concrete way to decide who is the GOAT. GOAT is the best player of all time. Not the most decorated. That means who is the absolute best player. The whole debate is subjective. No one can say with 100% certainty that someone is the GOAT. That is why the debate rages on. Usually when people talk about the GOAT(in basketball, baseball, football, etc.) the players get looked at in a vacuum. It doesn't matter about what they won because it is a team sport. The GOAT is the guy who has the best combination of Arm strength, accuracy, football IQ, leadership skills, etc. The GOAT could be on a team full of scrubs and win 0 SBs or a mediocre QB can get placed on a super team and win a bunch of SBs.

If your definition of GOAT is who is objectively the most decorated QB of all time. Then I would give you Brady as the winner. However, when you look at GOAT as the more traditional def. of greatest player of all time you need to use subjective means to figure.

There is no confusion brother, not between us. Brady is goat no matter how you look at it, he has racked up way too many SBs, and is the biggest money man in the sport, like him or not... and he's still around to amaze his fans and his haters, and everybody in between.

So if you were to create a team of the best players at every position you would choose Brady as your QB? You think he has the best combination of Arm talent, accuracy, football iq, etc?

Well I don't think he would be a bad choice at all... who would you pick? If he was mobile that would be a bet the house and cars...lol.

I don't know enough about the QBs prior to the late 90s to really be able to give a real in depth answer. I know a lot of people would pick Montana. I know a few guys who have been watching football since the 50s who say still say Johnny Unitas is the best. Brady is definitely not a bad choice and may be the best choice.

Generally when I think of who is the GOAT I think of which player would you put on an all time NFL roster. Brady may be the best choice.

To think about.... beyond the sports fans hatred of not being on their team etc. he scores pretty **** high across the board in all aspects that you would measure. Right? Success at career, marriage, image etc.

No. Totally with you. Just playing the game out though. If you were measuring this out how would you deduct for the visceral hatred as his detraction. His negatives far out weigh Brady’s. Agree?
 
Also. I guess you would have to toss out the princes, kings etc since they are born into it? There are a bunch of fascinating measurables to judge by I guess.

lol. Good point. Brady also has a ton of nuts that hate him, but of course not as many as Trump has. I agree though if we are talking about who wins the game of life than you deduct points for having millions of people hating you, but I think all those rich and connected people that like him partially offset the hordes of middle class and lower middle class people that can't stand him.

That is true. Gotta toss out the people born into it. Also guys like Gates that don't do anything fun with their money and have ugly wives also get tossed lol. Putin is still a great choice. Mega wealthy, basically dictator level of power, rose through the ranks by himself, basically runs the russian mob lol, gets TONS of *****, etc.
 
How about this for a meausreable? If you had to trade places with someone. Sort of step into someone’s body and inherit their traits if you will. How willing would you be to pick him maybe five years ago? Lol. You know, so you still can play football for a while.

Ahh. But, remember half the world hates him. Also you lose points for offing people. We got have some morals here. Also, I’m sure he had to live life within security restrictions. Probably somewhat annoying. He’s scores off the charts on everything else though. :)

That is a great way to put it. I would be very very very willing lol. He would definitely be one of my top choices. How about you?
