Rumor Glenn Schumann will be Michigan's Next Head coach

Michigan needs a guy with structure and a good system. I would imagine he will want assurances about who the AD will be - if it were me, I wouldn't agree to take the job with Ward Manuel as the AD. They need to clean house 100%

It's a re-do in many ways. The entire culture needs a re-start. Schumann has been with Kirby for a long time. He's got a solid foundation. I could see him being a very good HC

I’m not sold on Shumann. Georgia had 3 other DCs on staff in addition to Schumann with TRob, Kirby, and Muschamp. Exactly how much coordinating was Schumann doing? Plus, the last two previous seasons their defense looked better AFTER Muschamp was done following his son’s games at Vandy and was working as an “analyst.” It has been rumored that Muschamp when he had the time was the DC behind the curtain.

Would be a massive leap. He's only been the sole DC since 2024. Plus you know Kirby is heavily involved still.

I think he needs to go somewhere and be the HC before he is ready to be HC at Alabama
 
I’ve been hyping this guy up for 3 years. Very highly respected , brilliant X/O guy that guys like. Waiver lands him will have a good one.
 
I think UW Jedd Fisch for about 2-3yrs and a team friendly buyout clause coupled with Bama unwisely running DeBoerer outta T-town in 2-3yrs. Then Michigan gets the coach they’ve wanted all along since Harbaugh left.

The DeBoerer to Michigan deal was essentially done until he surprisingly won the Oklahoma playoff game. Earthworm Jim SEC analyst guy pretty much said it w/o saying it on Monday. Said the Bama boosters were ****ed and were ready to give em a private jet to Ann Arbor themselves had he lost that playoff game

Manny Diaz seems to be on his way out soon. @DMoney says Cristobal is the guy we plan to go after per the rumors coming out. The question now becomes who stays, who comes, and who goes?

Pros - He is the Chaminade and Deerfield recruit getter. Has gotten us top RB recruits each year under his time here. One of the better units of this team.
Con - Pass blocking has been an issue for our RB aside from Harris. RB production...

Brohm to Michigan just doesn’t make any sense. I think he’s one of those unique situations where I don’t see him leaving his alma mater for a long time.
