Frank Wilson was one of his recruiters, hopefully with him out of the equation, this helps our cause

well since it's got it's own thread now, i'll just repost this so the other one isn't lost in the shuffle:

Destrehan (La.) High School DL Glen Logan got an in-home visit from Cane line coach Craig Kuligowski this evening.

"He came over at 6 - it went well, he's a real cool guy," Logan said. "he was here for about an hour. We were talking football, about life after football, education. He also talked about guys he coached like Shane Ray."

Logan says the time spent with coach Kool, as he's better known, "Helps Miami with me - being able to meet him, talk to him in person was great."

Logan is set to visit UM Jan. 23.

He says he's down to two schools: LSU and Miami.

An LSU soft commitment he's asked what the Canes need to do on the visit to catch up with LSU.

"Not much, really," Logan said, adding "Miami's always has been in good shape with me."

Logan says he'll wait until signing day to announce a decision.

It's a great feeling knowing that we have a savage like Kuligowski who doesn't have to sell dreams out of thin air to recruits and can just point to his stellar resume of top-notch player development instead.

Wanna be developed like Aldon Smith, Shane Ray, and Kony Ealy? Come to Miami and raise some ****. No more f***ing pattycake.

When you're committed to a school and deciding on NSD, you're most likely not signing with the current school.

We up?

Hope buddy isn't just trolling to create drama

LSU has a commitment from another stud DT in Edwin Alexander and they are CB'ed for Rashard Lawrence and D'Andre Christmas-Giles.

Something has to give.

they got him to visit. that alone is a win. once u get them here u have a shot. have to get them to visit to really have a shot at closing. this staff seems to be doing that. expect chistmas-giles to visit and maybe southall also. at least i hope.

Southall is visiting

Coach O v. Coach Kool - just the fact that we have a legit coach to go toe to toe against the Cajun is refreshing.

I hope I'm wrong but their number this year was always four dts for this cycle, the attention shifted to Logan once Oliver chose Houston, prior to committing most thought he was LSU bound. This will be a tough pull but it may help if we get his mother to come on his official so she could approve the campus.

maybe he is recruiting some of these guys and it will open the door

According to multiple reports, UTSA has hired LSU RB coach and recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson to serve as their head coach.
Very nice hire by UTSA. Wilson, 42, is considered one of the best recruiters in the country. Among the household names he's snagged since joining LSU in 2010, Leonard Fournette, Odell Beckham Jr. and La'el Collins. Not too shabby. He'll be replacing Larry Coker, who stepped down from the Roadrunners after his squad turned in a 3-9 record this past season. Coker was just 26-32 in his five seasons at the helm.
