Howard is asked about the bubble screen and why this one was jumped and never any of the other ones.
His response was very simple and something the fans (oh we're so dumb!!) have been calling for, forever.
Worth noting is that Howard said he first caught the coaches eyes in practice when he would jump the screen against the scout team.
They told him, "well ya because you knew the play is coming." (isn't that the point of scouting lol)

PS: This isn't done to defend or antagonize D'Onofrio. Just pointing out the old adage of less is more (in terms of having your players think too much).

That was definitely a play made on Tuesday as the announcers asked about. That's a play that in film study from earlier in the week you learn to recognize the opposing team's tendencies based on formation, movement, down, etc.

Tracy was coached up on what UVA likes to do, recognized the coaching and made the play. Credit to Dorito, Williams and whoever else put that part of the scouting report in.

That play looked to be scouted well and recognized based on the motion of that play. I wonder how much freedom Howard had on other plays.
