Give Diaz more time before you're ready to fly the Banners.

I understand a lot of the fan base is ready to fly the Banners but we should support Diaz and give him some more time. Diaz took over a 7-6 team on life support in January when recruiting season was all but done. We had no O-Line and Two QBs who haven't proved anything. The team was not in a good place when Diaz took over. Diaz has the right mindset on what it takes to make us great but he's still a rookie HC who is trying to figure out how to run a program for the first time. I get it you all want instant gratification and we should beat VT and NC because we're the Canes!!! Unfortunately the reality is where a middle of the pack Acc program and have been for 10+ years. I get it you want instant gratification and for the U to be back but we should at least give Diaz two full years before were ready to call for his job or not.

Bro. The defense is the reason he was hired and it been a sh*tshow. Did I also mention that Diaz and Baker are friends so we could be looking at another Golden-No'D situation.

Diaz also had all the cash in the world to get a modern spread OC and chose a Wisconsin style play action crackhead.

Don't get me started on the recruiting.
 
Usually is say you're right but they aren't losing due to talent or things outside of their control. They're horrible coaches and Manny put together the worst P5 staff in the country. I'll give him time if he starts making some SIGNIFICANT changes soon.

I say no, but reality is more like what you state. We may have no choice but to stick it out. This university is not known for acting rationally and quickly on its feet. And whenever it has acted quickly, it has done so irrationally.
 
When Diaz was hired he talked a huge game, he brought in transfers, he had or forced a bunch of guys to leave. Diaz had a top defense and picked his guys to run it. Then he hired a guy to run the offense and pick a staff.

There are some things we can cut him some slack on - maybe. But the defense playing slow, confused, passive, and missing tackles against bad teams isn’t one of them. How this defense played against Florida was not up to “the standard” and they have regressed a lot since that game. This defense today has no identity other than stepping back in big moments.

I've always been on the side of giving people time. But something died in me that first half yesterday. It was Manny's 0-45 UVA and 0-58 clemson moment, IMO. I'd support a change tomorrow.

Though I still don't believe in banners. They don't help in any way; solely a negative.
