Gianni Paul

Paul was a talented Lakeland High kid who royally screwed up at UM off the field. Weed and alcohol did him in. Congrats to him realizing his mistakes and doing something about it. I hope the best for him. He who is without sin cast the first stone.

Is this a serious comment? Sometimes it takes a significant kick in the *** for some kids to get their head right. Paul finally realized his future was slowly coalescing into burger flipping or worse if he didn't get the **** away from South Florida in a hurry. The middle of conservative whitebread Utah is a good place for a dude to work on himself with no distractions. Super happy for him and hope he makes it to the show.

FWIW, it's not the recruiting part that AG screws up with (although it's gotten worse last 2 cycles), it's what he does with the kids on gameday that leaves everybody screaming for his head.

In golden's ****** recruitings defense, he has absolutely no ability to gauge character and behavior risks. I challenge you to find a head coach who has hand picked more linebackers to be future former players of their school than golden.
 
Kid was a bad guy here plain and simple. And dat boy Grace is 10x the player Paul is. 10x the player skai moore is too but you mopes act like moore is something better then ordinary.

Paul came from Kathleen. His brother Miguel Paul played bball at Mizzu back around 08-09 when they were making noise in the tourney. He got kicked out Mizzu as well and ended up at East Carolina.

He was not kicked out of school. He was bumping heads with the staff prior to leaving. He made the right decision

You mean like when Cam Newton got kicked out of UF for stealing a computer? It was never about talent for Paul. He screwed up off the field. For some reason I thought there were some issues where he might want to transfer to Colorado State or University of Colorado for legal access to recreational products he wouldn't let go.

Paul ask to leave ....According to to his family " Golden and staff questioned his loyalty to his teammate".....The staff wanted him to tell what he knew about the Finnie Incident and he would not.....However, Finnie did run to his (Gionni's Apt) to hide when the police was chasing him...."Gionni would not tell on his teammate". His parents felt there would be repercussions because of his unwillingness to tell on his teammate ....So he decided to transfer.....UM agreed .....But it was his dad who made that decision....He never cared for the staff.....

We need to hit kleen/polk county hard. There is a lot of talent from that area. Tougher then any kid from south florida too
 
LOL that is a completely believable and classic Golden story. Turn over and rat on your buddy, just the kind of mindset you want inside a football program where so much is predicated on trusting one another. What a gigantic piece of garbage our former coach was and is.
 
That's typical Al. I couldn't imagine what a trio of Paul, Eddie, and Denzel would have been with a real staff
