Get Stacy Coley off kick and punt returns

All the boy needs to is stop smoking everyday and actually do some lifting in the weight room

1 bench press rep of 225 won't cut it. If he's lazy on the bench I can only imagine what his squat numbers look like. He can be tackled by a 5th grader right now

What ever happened to Burns and Elder?

We are too thin at corner back to take a chance on them getting injured. We have a little bit more depth at safety, but I'm not sure Johnson has the speed. I would give Chocolate another chance. I would also like to see what Yearby and/or Walton can do.

Stacy Coley was so good his freshman year. I went back watched the highlights of 2013, he balled in almost every game. It crazy...

Just throw in one of our stud quick twitch guys. Kermit or Mackenzie should fill either role perfectly. Oh wait...

Coley is just as good as the rest from what I've seen. So you replace him with who? Nobody I've seen mentioned in this thread is much of an improvement if an improvement at all. Even if someone is, they may not field the ball as well so they're kept out of returns.

It's a fact that we've been spoiled through the years on special teams. We've had speed galore and people who could make guys miss, but this is the slowest I've seen us look in years.

Who knows, maybe someone will surprise us.

This x1000 been a problem since his HS days.

So his alleged smoking makes him scared to return kicks and absorb contact? Is that the paranoia thing?

I would love to see Corn back there, but with the lack of DB depth, we can't risk him getting hurt on a kickoff return. I say put Yearby and Berrios back there and see what happens. I would keep Coley on punt returns though.

Hopefully he's been in that weight room heavy because Stacy is a beast but the boy is brittle. I remember going to games and everytime he was hit he'd be running to the sideline for a sub.

That's really all he can do?

Regardless, I remember a bunch of people trying to crown this young man (as well as saying we may have a top five WR unit in the nation preseason last year) and I said I just hope he doesn't go the Lance Leggett route. Boy did he ever, now let's hope he makes a comeback.

There is definitely something wrong, this kid had one of the best high school films I've seen and he showed it is freshman year. Remember the VT and Duke returns and that performance against Pitt was EPIC. I don't think he's been right since that first hit against Louisville but ****, shake it off son!

In his Freshman year, he displayed electric, ankle-breaking quickness. Last season, he weaved through traffic. He was not physically the same player.
