I think Miami wins this game, though I'm not willing to commit to a margin. A lot of attention has been given to the offense, but I'd like to see if the defense can come to play right out of the gate and not spot the other team 10-14 points in the first quarter before it figures out what the **** is going on. If this happens, it could be a 21+ victory.
Offensively, I think this team may have stumbled upon something reasonably difficult for less talented teams to defend, in blind pig/acorn fashion. If Pitt plays off the receivers, get them the ball in space and let them gain 5-10 yards a pop. If they press and take this away, have to be able to do what Malik couldn't do last year - make accurate enough throws downfield to open receivers. Mix in runs when the defense is off balance. And by all means continue to try to spread the defense out.
