Georgia

Miami vs Georgia in the NC. Count on it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if UGA dropped 3 of their next 6. They have a long road ahead.

They have 5 left not including a potential SECCG matchup. No way they drop 3 of 5 against UF, South Carolina, Auburn, Kentucky, and Tech. Luckily for UGA, the SEC is down. They are really poised to run the SEC East if Smart doesn't ***** things up. With that said, when they make it to Atlanta, Bama is going to beat the **** out of them.
I said I wouldn’t be surprised and I wouldn’t because all of those teams have defenses that are well above average and Tech is Tech. Plus, SC beat NCSt; Auburn is good enough; KY finds a way to lose but they have the talent to win; and the UF/GA game is a significant rivalry where either team can win. One more thing: this weekend is exhibit A that anything can/will happen.

You might wanna cool it with the predictions for a while after that abortion of a thread you started.

Are you sure you understand the definition of a prediction? I don’t think you do based upon your comment. But, it’s possible that you made an error; something that I and others allow. You could man up? Recognize that my post doesn’t rise to the level of a prediction. I know that’s not a big thing around here, but I think you’re better than most.

That said, some of my predictions sucked.

No one knocked Richt's ability to recruit at UGA, it was what he did with that talent.

leaving a lot to be desired

hobbled walton on special teams
hobbled walton still in games up 80
can't hand the ball off to homer
believes in cager more than he believes in christ

list can go on but it's getting old..

Chug some gasoline and have a smoke.

Don't care what anyone says.

I've watched quite a bit of Georgia. They are legit.

They can beat Bama

I always laugh when Miami fans think everybody else isn't that good. Georgia is **** good. They have a talented roster and a good staff.

Georgia would run up and down the field on Miami with that O-line and those backs.

It's college football. Anything can definitely happen. I'd be utterly shocked if they dropped 3 of their next 5. AU has the best shot imo. Prior to the season I thought Kentucky would be in a good spot to win that game but now I'm not feeling as confident. Ultimately, it'd surprise me for UGA to lose 3 of the next 5.

It was his inability to beat Alabama year in year out. Nick Savior donkey punched him right out of Athens. That’s why they canned him and brought in a disciple who could figure out how to get it done.

SEC has the worse offenses in all of college football...they look so goat playing against each other. Then they play a team like Notre Dame and barely inch out a win.

Miami > UGa

I have watched Georgia play in person. They are good, Depth at RB is crazy and their D is pretty nasty. Smart is reaping the benefits of Richts recruiting class but Smart is pulling in players that might of gone elsewhere also. Gonne be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

I've watched them as well. I disagree regarding Bama. That's not a good matchup for them.

I think they'd have a shot. They have an elite defense.

Running game is also just as good as Bamas. They trot out 3 RBs out there and don't skip a beat.

I just can't see them running on Bama. Then, they have to put the game in the hands of Fromm. Not a good recipe.

I know there's a reflexive instinct to give credit to Rick for Georgia's current "success". Understandable but they're fraudulent. It's more prudent to just be patient so as to be able to mock Curby (and their decision to can Rick) once they collapse here shortly.

We will get a good comparison when we play ND, believe they have gotten better however since Ga beat them at their place.

Check out the 247 Team Talent chart. UGA is playing with 85 total players, 43 are 4 stars and 11 are 5 stars. Miami is playing with 73 and only 24 are 4 stars and 1 5 star.

11 5-stars! That's nuts!! We haven't had numbers like that since the early 2000s, if ever. I can't even fathom what it's like to have 54 players--over 60% of your team--be 4- and 5-stars.

That should be the goal if we want to be considered "back".

Its why teams like Bama can lose an All-American DB, RB, OL, etc. and just place another kid in there and not miss a beat.

This next class is going to be huge. Another 1 or 2 like that and we're going to be in business. What a difference from the last 3 regimes.
