No one knocked Richt's ability to recruit at UGA, it was what he did with that talent.

leaving a lot to be desired

hobbled walton on special teams
hobbled walton still in games up 80
can't hand the ball off to homer
believes in cager more than he believes in christ

list can go on but it's getting old..

Our best players have always played special teams, go back to the early 2000s. We were up 18 points when Walton got hurt against Duke. Homer got 20 carries yesterday. I didn't see Cager after the first quarter.

Basically post better.

I still think Auburn beats Georgia this year. That game is AU championship game. Plus they are due to beat them.

we don't have the depth for that dude..

1. We have no depth at RB right now.

2. We need Homer to be healthy.

3. You can find someone to take his spot on kickoff and punt coverage.

In summation, it is an incredibly risky move that doesn't make sense.

They're not Richt players. They are UGA players. It got stagnant there. Who knows, when Richt players leave it may fall off. You never know. But I hate this type of argument. Langham was a Golden camp special. Does that mean Golden wasn't terrible? Most of the key contributors on O were recruited by Golden. Alot but not all on D.

Miami vs Georgia in the NC. Count on it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if UGA dropped 3 of their next 6. They have a long road ahead.

They have 5 left not including a potential SECCG matchup. No way they drop 3 of 5 against UF, South Carolina, Auburn, Kentucky, and Tech. Luckily for UGA, the SEC is down. They are really poised to run the SEC East if Smart doesn't ***** things up. With that said, when they make it to Atlanta, Bama is going to beat the **** out of them.

Initially, no. Last year during and after the season, however, was a different story. I had numerous arguments with friends that are UGA fans (I grew up in the state of Georgia) that downplayed the talent level last year. I've been giving them **** about that all year up to this point.

You mean win more games then any coach but 3 coaches ever in his first 15 years? Listen , Richt and UGA did get stale together which can happen when you are in relationship for so long but no one in their right mind didn't realize Richt was a great coach and the best coach UGA had easily since Dooley. Richt is a much better coach then the guy they got now as well. He built that badass team just like he is building this one. UGA and Richt seemed to go off the tracks when they made him stop calling plays as that is where Richt is happy and at his best coaching the entire team.

All I want is a little more consistency in the play calling as about 50% of the play calling he has done this season has been genius , another 25% as been average and 25% has been down right awful. I hope the 2nd halves of the last 2 games serve as a blue print for him.
