I think what we'll see is an attempt by schools to own a player's NIL rights for X number of years (per each contract). That way the player can still transfer freely, but won't be able to get new NIL deals til that initial contact years expire. But then it gets interesting because schools with bigger budgets could offer to buy the contract out, much like coaches.Precisely if players cant transfer every season, you cant entice them into the portal with money. I think i support John Calapari strategy, 1 free transfer after that it goes back to what it was before where you sit out. Either that, or make players sign contracts thats enforceable.
