Genuinely I wouldn't worry about guard much at all.

Tackle is the worry if we don't land Seaton. Cantwell will have freshman struggles. And McCoy and Samson are unproven at OT. So that's 100% of attention. Guard I'll honestly feel fine whoever is out there. Center is more critical than that too honestly. Like is Rodriguez athletic enough, is SJ too undersized? ....

Georgia offensive lineman Jamal Meriweather entered the transfer portal last weekend, and by Friday afternoon, he was committed to Miami. The former blue-chip recruit gives Mario Cristobal and his staff another big piece up front.

Meriweather took an official visit to Miami last Friday, just a week after entering the transfer portal, and it didn’t take long for the Hurricanes to lock in his pledge.



Meriweather is a 6-foot-7, 325-pound lineman who played in 12 games for Georgia, mostly in a rotational role.

Miami has been searching for size and depth along the offensive line, and Meriweather checks both boxes. He brings SEC experience, physical play, and competition to a room Cristobal has been rebuilding since day one.

Whether he ends up starting or rotating, the Hurricanes continue to load up in the trenches, and this portal run doesn’t look like it’s slowing down.
