Georgia NIL leak on Jackson Cantwell

That's where the best programs are and in volume, so those numbers are always going to reflect that.

But having 4 blue chip OL is not because we are in the ACC, Clemson has signed 7 during the same span. He's just not doing a good enough job.
I didn't realize this was the case. But.. you're right.

I won't sit here and act like Mario/Mirabal can't coach OL. Recruiting blue chip high school OL to Miami has not exactly been their strength though.

5* - Francis Mauigoa - #9 overall player in his class
5* - Samson Okunlola - 23 overall
4* - Seuseu Alofaituli - 125 overall
4* - Max Buchanan - 356 overall

3* - Markel Bell - 15 JUCO, (.8847 is around 550 overall in a high school class)
3* - Tommy Kinsler - 567 overall
3* - Antonio Tripp Jr. - 709
3* - Deryc Plazz - 733 overall
3* - Demetrius Campbell - 1088
3* - Juan Minaya - 1089 overall
3* - Frankie Tinilau - 1095
3* - Jaden Wilkerson - 1357
3* - Nino Francavilla - 2069

A lot of poor evaluation’s on top of the blue chipper amount.

Where is Max Buchannon a 4 star?

Appreciate the deeper look, truly. I guess I was thinking about this in the Cantwell context. We can sell development better than Georgia, but Georgia still has plenty of development to sell and obviously a much longer track record.

Asking honestly here because I truly do not know, behind Sewell, who is Mirabal's best development success? Shane Lemieux?
Agreed on the bolded.
I';m not sure on Mirabal really. Im just getting at the whole Searles as a producer/coach.
i believe the ol coaches at OU and Miami are better than Searles though.

Or how about you could’ve thrown a rock in the lake and found a coach who could’ve gotten us in the playoffs.
Where are all the egregious mistakes that Mario made last year? We were a Restrepo fumble return for a touchdown away from making the playoffs...we blaming Mario for that too or you just moping?

For the record, b/c there’s so many narratives out here, & it’s hard to keep up.

Here’s the OL production for Smart as a HC, Cristobal as a HC, Mirabal as an OLC, & Searles as an OLC.

Mario Cristobal: 11
@ Alabama: 5
(Kouandijo-2nd Rd, Kouandijo-4th Rd, Shepherd-7th Rd, Kelly-1st Rd, Robinson-2nd Rd)

@Oregon: 4
(Sewell-1st, Lemieux-6th, Hanson-6th, Crosby-5th)

@Miami: 2
(Lee-7th Rd, Rivers-5th)

Alex Mirabal: 6
@marshall: 1
(Scott - 6th Rd)

@UO: 3
(Sewell-1st, Lemieux-6th, Hanson-6th)

@Miami: 2
(lLee-7th, Rivers-5th)

Kirby Smart: 16
@ UGA:
(McClendon- 5th Rd, Jones-1st Rd, Van Pran-5th Rd, Mims-1st Rd, Wilson-3rd Rd, Fairchild-2nd, Wynn-1st Rd, Gaillard-6th Rd, Kindley-4th Rd, Wilson-1st Rd, Thomas-1st Rd, Hill-6th Rd, Cleveland-3rd Rd, Shafer-6th Rd, Salyer-6th rd, Ratledge-2nd Rd)

Stacey Searels: 15
@LSU: 1
(Whitworth - 2nd Rd)

@UGA p. I: 2
(Adams-6th Rd, Boling-4th Rd)

@VT: 1
(Gibson-7th Rd)

@Miami: 1
(Isadora-5th Rd)

@UNC: 3
(Ezeudu-3rd Rd, McKethan-5th Rd, Heck-4th Rd)

@UGA: 7
(McClendon-5th Rd, Jones-1st Rd, Van Pran-5th Rd, Mims-1st Rd, Wilson-3rd Rd, Fairchild-2nd, Ratledge-2nd)

-The combo of Smart/Searels can claim they’ve produced 24 NFL OL.

-The combo of Cristobal/Mirabal can claim they’ve produced 12 NFL OL.

I'm having trouble finding your angle here. So what you're really saying is Mario has done more with less?

The Oklahoma OL coach has 15 OL drafted including 3 first rounders since 2013 in comparison

Good data here but I think those Georgia numbers are ultimately more of Searles truly being the benefactor of Kirby's great recruiting. Otherwise, Searles' ceiling for OL draftees is 3rd round.

It’s interesting Mario only had 1 - 1st round OL at Alabama but after he left they’ve produced 6 - 1st round OL in the last 8 years
