Georgia Hires Kirby Smart....Now it gets Interesting....

If I'm going with a first time HC, I rather go with an offensive guy. Smart has a good rep but how much of his success is because of Saban?

The last guy that they hire that was a great coordinator at a school lasted 15 years, and won almost 80% of his games. I think Kirby Smart will be fine.
 
Any one coming from defense under Saban be weary on. Dude runs everything about his defense, and b-Ritchie's his assistants...they have no say whatsoever. Channing Crowder played directly for Saban was drafted by him I believe and stated what I wrote above.

Smart seems to be a guy they been on for awhile . He probably wants that job bad...and new blood was needed there as Richt was on cruise control
 
It's a weird deal when Scott Frost to UCF seems like one of the more impressive hires so far.
