Miami QB Brad Kaaya is going to great. Every high level QB goes thru a trial-by-fire. This kid is tougher than a $2 steak. #JustWatch

Not worried about Kaaya at all. Worried about AG's decision to start him and Coley's horrific play calling.

starting Kaaya = good decision
running Duke up the middle on 80% of the plays.. = bad idea
O-line not stepping up to give our fresh QB better protection = bad coaching
Defensive still not being as aggressive as a Miami D should be = Dorrito needs to be hung

Kaaya took a huge shot first drop back.. got up, shook it off.. went 8/12 in the first half.. last night it was all coaches.

How many times did we watch our olinemen running up to Kaaya and hugging him like "sorry for getting you hit again bro"

**** this staff!

Sorry, this loss was not on Doritos. This is significant only because in all four losses last year this wasn't the case.

If we're talking coaches blame goes to Golden, Coley, and Kehoe.

Yep...it was pretty inevitable

I don't think anyone thought it was inevitable. But what struck me as odd was every player who was asked about the decision to start Kaaya seemed surprised and clearly unsure that the right call was made. I remember saying, WTF, after hearing Clive's coments. His High School HC didn't sound thrilled either on QAM.

Kayaa did a little better than what a typical true frosh would do in hostile territory vs a very good team

It's the playcalling that worries me

Wish we would have opened with the likes of FAMU, until we have proven to be back

Didn't we duck LSU as an opener this year?

Just another nail in the coffin for Golden. "Anytime, anywhere" is our god**** motto. Another indication of the attitude he's brought to the programme - displayed in full on the field.

I mean I figured it inevitable that people would begin to question the decision to start Kaaya at the first time of trouble.

Were you guys watching the same game as I was? Kaaya looked lost to me. Looked out of place and looked scared at the beginning.
Its the defense that almost saved the day.
It was the offense that lost this game.

That's not exactly what I got from listening to the team and or his coach. It was more of he played well enough to get the job so we will stand behind him. Maybe what you were sensing was the dread that there was no other QB better than a Freshmen straight out of high school who could lead the team! HAHA Either way, I think the kid has the skills and will make many fans out of those unsure or already screaming for him to be benched. The sooner we get Coley out of playcalling duties the better for Kaaya's success.

Zero concerns about Brad Kaaya. Already looked better than Morris

I'm not worried about him but lets quit the Morris bashing... He isn't better than Morris was at the same stage in his career... Morris played a 9 win Maryland squad and pulled off a great victory... He went 18-30 , 286 yards 1 td and 2 pics... We would have gladly accepted that last night... Kaaya isn't better and he didn't look better than Morris... He should be red-shirting... However, I do think he has a bright future...

Name 1 QB James Corley has developed?

That's what worries me about Kaaya.

The offensive line was the major issue. Other then that they need to use the speed they have and go deep. @ least Morris thru the deep ball.

I am no way blaming Kaaya because I think the coaching did him in but he didn't look great when he had the opportunities.

Coley scores on a good throw on the screen
Underthrew an open Dobard on the INT
Completely predetermined the read on the 4th down play. Dorsett scores if he scans the field.

Again, I don't blame Kaaya one bit. True FR on the road and they handcuffed him from the start. He did miss a few opportunities though.

Like others have said, why start him if you aren't going to let him play?

Good, the next coach should have a nice QB to work with.

His arm strength scared me, though.

It's not a bad decision if you let him play. When you don't give him the opportunity to make plays and hang him out to dry, well then yeah it becomes a stupid decision. If you don't believe he is ready then why are you starting him? These coaches are atrocious.
