D$ breaking news that we're recruiting Gavin Gregory. Says Toledo recruiting staff is top notch and found a gem. Excited we're recruiting him.

So, “Small Game James” - as he’s referred to in Happy Valley - to the Gators? Really? Penn State faithful would help him pack & drive the moving van to Gainesville if the Gators would have him. The guy is a mediocre game coach, can’t win a meaningful game & to top it off is miserable. But for a $50 million buyout, his seat would be hotter than hot. Take him, please.

Franklin had two 9-win seasons at Vanderbilt. He turned a pedo factory in Penn State into a consistent winner loaded with NFL talent.

Look at what Penn State was in the 20 years before Franklin. Those fans are delusional about their program.

Expectations were low at Vandy & Franklin did a nice job. Maybe he’s stayed too long at Penn State & is stale. Fact is he’s been the third or fourth best program in the Big Ten most years, failed repeatedly to get over the top & trending downward in the conference with arrival of Oregon & emergence of Indiana/Illinois. Got beat last week by worst team in the conference with an interim head coach & a young staffer elevated days before to OC. He puts RBs, TEs & LBs in the league, but hasn’t developed a QB or championship caliber offense. His offense would have the Gators screaming for the days of Dan Mullin, who is doing quite well at UNLV.

Hmm, “Small Game James” even more available after coming up short against Northwestern, but for ridiculous buyout.

This kid plays at a tiny school about 45 mins or so from where I’m from and live. West Branch is a solid program, but they play absolutely awful competition. I believe they’re D IV or V, which is like 2A down in Florida. I’ll keep my eye on him when the playoffs begin, West Branch usually makes a little noise up here when the tournament starts. I love the our current OL kid from up this way and the WR from Walsh is legit, but I’m kinda skeptical as f%ck about a prospect from Beloit being UM caliber.
