don't forget about UCF's pristine indoor facility either.
but the good news is.....we getting lights installed on our practice field sometime in the near future! Lights Baby!
I went to UM for undergrad and currently go to UF for med school. The emphasis on athletics is not even comparable. From the top down you can tell how much everyone cares about sports. Even with UF having a terrible year in football, the support never wavered because they have an administration that wont accept mediocrity. I know my alma mater can get to this level. We just need people who care. Its literally heartbreaking, growing up such a huge miami fan and being able to attend the school only to have to watch some of the worst years in miami football. Then attending a rival school, and actually understanding what a real football atmosphere feels like.
How is it that Miami University can raise $20 million to revamp their athletic facilities and build an indoor training facility, and The U can't?

Yes we just built the Schwartz Center, and refurbished the field but it seems as though we're still behind our competition..
In today's world to raise $15 million isn't really a lot of money, especially with the alumni from The U
there's plenty of space by the IM fields to get an indoor facility,
but of course, current students will be against that. I mean where will frat stars have their cancer awareness softball tournaments?
Why can't the Frat's play on the field when it's not being used?

don't compare us to schools in the middle of nowhere.
you need to compare us to private schools in MAJOR cities like "USC "
wow. there really aren't many private schools in big cities.
