You figure this is their starting defense:
- Sapp
- Lyons
- Bett
- Gumbs

The ends are fine. Haven’t generated much of any pressure so far. It’s that inside group that has me thinking we can lean on them for 5.5 yards a clip. I get it they think their LB group is amazing but we’ve seen Cooper elevate his game in these matchups and Brock at Center seems to be dialed in as well.

We all know that if each team played to their talent level, Miami wins 10 out of 10 games. So the hand wringing comes from the last 20 years of our teams overlooking trap game opponents any time we showed a pulse.

But come on now, this team is just built different. Did you see those coaches yesterday or the DL today at Media Q&A? Does it look like they don't have their eye on the ball?

I'm predicting we'll win by 3 scores AT LEAST, and there's a good chance it will be a beat down of Dabo v Golden levels. UF is the very definition of a Bend Then Break team. They are sooooo ready for the end of Billy ball. Time to help them cross over.

I blame Dmoney. He keeps telling me every chance he gets that we should be worried. I hope it’s a bit cause there’s no other logical explanation.
To be fair, USF is not super talented but are well coached. They are limited on how good they can be.

Florida has much more talent but are at an extreme disadvantage when it comes to coaching. Throw in an in-state rivalry with the upgrade in talent, where there’s significant motivation, and you have a potentially dangerous situation if you come out flat.

The importance of not giving them hope from the start and being dialed in will be everything.

Aaaaaaand you have a desperate coach who might be willing to try everything to win given their upcoming schedule, and to give the fanbase a little bragging rights nugget.

The Gators stink. But it's college football and bad teams can be dangerous sometimes.
Exactly----that's why depending on which model you like, we are 75-80% likelt to win. People are terrible st statistics---that means you'd lose 1out of 4 or 5 times. It's isn't a round ball. Weird plays. Weird calls. Somebody slips.

I think Beck is even more valuable than I initially thought. Been in tons of big games. Very composed. Team oriented guy as you can tell on the sidelines.

No doubt if we play near our best and they play near their best we win and cover the 7 1/2 easily.

I have same hesitation to be honest. I really think this team is different if we come out and dominate them. I think we win but I expect a fight.

They have no pass rush. Their best DL is out. Their S's are solid. All of the CB's are inconsistent. I think it's a great day to have all these WR recruits at this game. Beck and his soldiers should have a big day.
It's a rivalry game with a team that has one last stand from the season completely falling apart. They know if Billy is fired, it will all be blown up. That makes for a dangerous opponent. Stay focused, 1 game at a time. We have a veteran team with a great culture.

This game is Napier’s Alamo. We will get the entire kitchen sink thrown at us. Need to break their will early. If we can replicate last week’s first quarter it won’t be close. If we play with our food it’ll be some ugly 23-16 type of game. Luckily we are very experienced on offense. If Beck plays sharp, we should win by three scores.
