Gators called the NCAA about Paradise Camp

I'm not sure why. Probably more so than any school, the Gators (much as I hate to admit this) could probably come closest to matching us in terms of matching the star power. They could trout out Emmit, Kearse, Harvin, Tebow, the Pouncey's, Hernandez ... wait.

Nevermind.

Sounds like they're a just a little but hurt. They're mad they can't get their prized alumni back for camps because he's doing life in prison.

Miami has an advantage in that many alumni have homes near the South Florida area, and or can travel there much easier with direct flights from wherever they are located.

Also the alumni former NFL players can turn it into a vacation for the weekend, or go down to the Keys, or on to the Caribbean.

Not as easy or as attractive to go to Gainesville or Trailorhassee.

Which is one good reason Hall-of-Famers like Walter Payton, Kellen Winslow, and Jerry Rice send their kids to the U.

Want to fact check that Jerry Rice claim?

Emmitts' relationship with the turds is not on the up and up...from the urban crier days

According to a south Florida HS coach on Twitter.

Mwhahahaha

You need to post the Twitter quote or a screenshot, otherwise it's just loose talk.

Brett Romberg said it was the Gators who called the NCAA 20 times in one day. He said it on his radio show this morning on 790 The Ticket. The producer Brendan Tobin tweeted out what Romberg said.

If I am correct, our bases were covered because we invited players who were not on active NFL rosters to coach. If Duke were to interact with potential recruits, I think it would've been a slight issue with compliance. So plus 1 for Coach for exploiting that.

The latest lunatic coach they have up there now is trying to repair it. He had him on the sidelines for a game last year and he spoke to the team.

Still, though, it always seemed like Emmitt never really embraced his Gator roots. Guess he was too embarrassed playing around all those Canes in Dallas.
