I Guess The Breakfast Club GIF by For(bes) The Culture
To quote you: “Peeweeeeeee!”

My Bull Gator partner came into my office shortly after the Nike news broke. He simply asked if we were going to buy everyone named to the NCAA All American team for next season. I smiled and said, “If they are better than this year’s number one high school class-then yes”. He gave me the finger and walked away.
The world of college football is in a good place again.

My gator friends are already making excuses for their game against Auburn. One even said it always takes 4 or 5 games for a new head coach to get his team on the same new page. I told him that Auburn’s new coach wasn’t going to use that excuse.
Ask him did they do that for Mario when he lost to MTSU, if they say no then tell them not to turn the page.

😂 the next Vandy, LMFAOOOOOOO
Tebow was ****ED.

They deserved to be humbled though. They think they have a history equal to Bama. But other than a few years in the 90s and a few years in the late 2000s, they are mid AF, as the kids say.

Look at them getting Chase to walk this back too...I used to respect Chase. Not anymore. The man said what he said!

It’s provably (not probably) true that the gators are the most underachieving team in the history of college football and it’s not even close.

Considering the state that they’re in, the abundance of talent in the state, the so-called state “flagship“ University, every possible advantage, massive state funding, and yet it literally took them 100 years to win their conference, and they should have the record Miami has in terms of national championships. But they don’t. Not even close.

Therefore, Tebow, as befits his low IQ and 800 SAT score, is delusionally wrong, as usual.

100%. I do think Texas probably ties them in the modern era, but it is crazy that we had four national titles before they even competed for one.

I watched the new 30 for 30 the other day about Danny Rolling and the 1990 Gators team. Haven't gone back in the thread so don't know if y'all discussed it, but it killed me the way they breezed right past the NCAA sanctions. Not only that, UF and Spurrier talked about them as if they were such victims.

I'm pretty sure you were also around back then, but for anyone who isn't aware of Florida in the 80s, this was their second major scandal in ~six years.

You’re right, especially if you just consider maybe the last several decades, i.e. modern era. But overall, I still say that in the entire history of college football, they are the most underachieving team ever.
