Tears Gator Tears

I can confirm that they welcome both ladies and couples!

But…um…bring Lysol. Lots of it.
I'll go with you.

Only went once! My friend Bobby and I were very drunk and figured we needed to do it before we graduated, so I woke up my husband dragged him along too.

It is WEIRD. There is a small *** shop in the front. It was something like 2 or 3am so there definitely was not food (which I would not have eaten anyway!), but now I don’t remember if they serve food during the day either. It’s very small and loungey. There’s not a big stage. It’s just a sort-of long, thin stage, with your worst nightmares attempting to creep from side to side in too- small heels. The chairs squeak from former clients’ dried residue. It’s the saddest pleasure center in Florida.

Also, my friend Bobby went to the back with a girl and I almost vomited. My husband (well fiancé then) couldn’t stop laughing because we could see their feet under the curtain. That’s because “the back” is really no more than just a line of curtain-lined stalls, similar to retail store dressing rooms.

So next time you’re driving up 75, on that lovely switch of highway between Ocala and Gainesville, and you get a little curious…

Don’t. Trust me. Your hand is safer.

Skeeter (originally of "Skeeter's Big Biscuit") opened Cafe Risque in his wife's name when he was having tax problems. Sadly, all the Skeeter's are now closed (they made it down to Orlando at one point), but the "Li'l Asher" special (and several other Skeeter's Big Biscuit menu items) appeared on the Cafe Risque food menu.

Yes, I can literally tell you that I stopped for the food.

True story.

I’m not sure we can be friends anymore. 🤣

What, because I like a big biscuit? Come on, I used to hit Skeeter's every time I was in Hogtown, so it was very traumatic when they closed them all.
I am quite fond of big biscuits myself, so no judgment there!

However, I do judge anyone that eats big biscuits at Cafe Risqué.

J/k about the not being friends anymore thing though!

I went there once with a friend on a roadtrip when I was in my early 20’s. Midday. **** near empty. And the annoying thing I remember is that there was food and *that* was the cover charge. Like, you had to order food. So I had some generic burger because it seemed like the safest option. But then I remember the girl that came on, it felt like her first day. She kinda tripped when she dropped the panties and she didn’t look super comfortable and I remember one of the clearly more experienced girls there rooting her on like, giving her confidence. And then I saw the scar on her belly. At that age I’d never seen a C-section scar before but I was able to put 2 and 2 together. And I thought this girl is probably my age and what the **** are we doing here on this Wednesday afternoon or whatever. And where’s her kid?

I tipped her whatever few bucks I had left in my wallet.

Oh, and the burger was bad. Don’t recommend.
