Lol yeah, safe to say they're shook.
Wow, are they actually giving credit without the standard “They buying players” excuse?
The time during Billy's tenure that two Gator Olinemen were blocking each other.
I already found it on Google, but TOC's ignoring it!
Any tips for my husband? He’s going crazy after only 17 years.I feel your pain my friend I’m going on 45 yrs of them….hang in there..
Just agree and shake his head yes cause he can never win an argument even when he’s perfectly in the the right cause you women process that thing that can keep any man tamed and are taught how to use it at a very early age..Any tips for my husband? He’s going crazy after only 17 years.
Asking for…a friend?![]()
Oh, I have no sympathy for him. We started dating when I worked in NYC BigLaw. He knew what he was getting, and I suckered him in with my cooking too.Just agree and shake his head yes cause he can never win an argument even when he’s perfectly in the the right cause you women process that thing that can keep any man tamed and are taught how to use it at a very early age..
Hope this helps…![]()
This is the type of fan I am, they cant ignore it. Some homers will be in denial it always happens, even here man when FSU was cooking and other schools people here were goofy about it. They cant ignore us now they know this beast is awake
How old is your son if I might ask?Oh, I have no sympathy for him. We started dating when I worked in NYC BigLaw. He knew what he was getting, and I suckered him in with my cooking too.
To this day, he’s never won an argument with me. My son has won a few though. I’m training him well. I want him to be both a gentleman, but not a man that falls for bull****. Like the Gators (to stay on-topic!).

Yea as I figured….he doesn’t know about that little gem you ladies carry around and use as a weapon when you want something. He will learn.I learned at 15-16.Didnt take me too long to figure out that if I ever wanted to experience seeing that wonderful jewel again I’d keep my mouth shut and just agree.
Well, I was being quite facetious in my previous post. I’m not really “training” my kid like that.Yea as I figured….he doesn’t know about that little gem you ladies carry around and use as a weapon when you want something. He will learn.I learned at 15-16.Didnt take me too long to figure out that if I ever wanted to experience seeing that wonderful jewel again I’d keep my mouth shut and just agree.
Now there are guys out there that jump from one gem to another thinking they can have their way and enjoy all types of different types of jewels but if they ever get to the point where they want to play in one jewelry box they soon learn this valuable lesson that I have mentioned.
Oh I agree but I was talking about winning arguments….i had a great mother ,may she rest in peace , who taught me manners and how to be polite amoung many other things that you mention but she never taught me how to win an argument with a woman if I ever wanted to fully enjoy life to the fullest. I guess she knew there was nothing she could say and all I had to do was see my dad when they disagreed to understand why that was not something she ever gave me any lessons for cause He never won one either…Well, I was being quite facetious in my previous post. I’m not really “training” my kid like that.We just have sports debates, and I teach him to sharpen his skills and bolster his arguments, stay on topic, etc.
But I figure it will probably have other uses in the future too.Like how, when he asks he to teach him how to cook more recipes, I think about how this will serve him well in the future too, because women love a man that can cook. And I love that he asks my husband to teach him how to change the oil in the car. He’s a good kid, with a good head on his shoulders, and I think he’ll be a good partner for someone one day. That’s all.
For me, “winning arguments” is really about conflict resolution. Most people don’t understand that and let their ego get in the way. But in a marriage, it’s not a win unless both parties feel satisfied afterwards and the relationship has grown stronger as a result.Oh I agree but I was talking about winning arguments….i had a great mother ,may she rest in peace , who taught me manners and how to be polite amoung many other things that you mention but she never taught me how to win an argument with a woman if I ever wanted to fully enjoy life to the fullest. You know I was being facetious in all this and I agree with you and my mom taught me to never go to bed angry with your spouse cause all that does is start a new day off on a bad foot. For me, “winning arguments” is really about conflict resolution. If my husband and I are having a disagreement, then I don’t really care so much about me being “in the right” as much as I care about figuring out what’s really going on and fixing the issue. And also, I want to model good conflict resolution for my son so that he grows up in a happy, healthy home and makes good choices in all aspects of his life when he’s on his own.
I love that! My husband quit drinking in 2013, and I’ve never been a huge drinker. Faith is important to us too.You know I was being facetious in all this and I agree with you and my mom taught me to never go to bed angry with your spouse cause all that does is start a new day off on a bad foot.
I’m not a person that likes to argue in the first place and if my wife and I do have a disagreement it usually ends pretty quick. Also I stopped drinking 20 or so years ago and I feel that the liquid courage that comes with alcohol caused a lot of our arguing and me and my wife becoming stronger in our faith has helped the most.
My wife doesn’t and hasn’t ever drank and any way to put an argument to an end is a good thing.I love that! My husband quit drinking in 2013, and I’ve never been a huge drinker. Faith is important to us too.
Interestingly, we disagree on the whole “don’t go to bed angry” thing! So many times, if we just go to bed, we realize in the morning that it was something so silly and we were just tired and having a miscommunication. Or I was hangry and I just ate and then fell asleep, so then I woke up the next day and forgot I was even upset. So stupid!![]()
They can’t even hate anymore
That was Muschamp! The great Georgia Southern game!
Mr. C and I sat through that entire debacle, in the student section, and laughed our asses off. I will never, ever forget when Mr. C (who was my fiance at the time!) tapped my leg, pointed, and questioned, "are those two olineman....blocking...each other?!?"
And I replied, "Yes. Yes, they are."
We then lost it, laughing, looked around to see if anyone else noticed, but noticed that the stadium was mostly empty and our friends had left for the bars long ago. I had vowed to stay to see if Georgia Southern's offense could complete a pass, which, of course, never happened. #MuschampsDefenseFTW
And then, to top it off, the following Spring, a group of us were in Lima, Peru for a International Business course. (I must have told this story here before, but whatever, it's a great story.) About two dozen of us, all wearing UF Business polo shirts, had just left a company visit (IBM, IIRC) and were standing on the corner waiting for our bus to pick us up. All of a sudden, we hear "GEOR-GIA SOUTH-ERN, GEOR-GIA SOUTH-ERN" chants coming from down the street. We all start looking around, and suddenly see a similar group of Bama students, all in Bama polos, walking towards us and chanting to troll us. It was so random and hilarious.
I love telling this story so much. The previous homeowners of our current house were Georgia Southern grads, so I told them the story at our closing. I think they may have enjoyed it almost as much as the wire transfer they received that day.View attachment 368643
Watching the Georgia Southern players mock the turds on their own field after their homecoming game, was fun for me. Here’s a little reminder.
