Yeah they thought there was going to be a brawl. The Gators’ coach had been ejected, and Mia Williams was hit by pitches FIVE times in the series (FOUR times by the same pitcher!). It was disgusting.

Mia Williams's parents were both UF athletes. And Mia transferred because Tim Walton is softball's Sully, and then her mother posted about it on social media (see post in link below). Of course, instead of recognizing the issue and advocating for changes, Gators just bully and physically attack the Williams family instead. The athletic department is a mess and this is why I've been telling y'all for years that Stricklin (the AD) and the UAA are a mess. Their issues go so much further than football.

New York fans in general are insufferable but I admire their optimism. No matter if they're fielding a team of quadriplegics or have Rich Kotite as coach they think they're winning the championship. Whereas your typical Miami fan thinks the team will suck even when they're good.

Oh yea they crazy asf, they may use this as an excuse to burn down the city. You would not catch me at that place **** nah. I dont think they beat the teams out west although they will give them a game. At least they are a good team again. Crazy that I feel like when you have such a long history and length of losing it builds a fan base up, it felt like that with the Canes where every emotion watching something we thought we would never see again. And there it was man, Miami back on the stage and taking no prisoners. Now we will get used to it, although it will feel good (pause) we will expect it.
