Tears Gator Tears

Remember, until now, most Gator fans would tell you how irrelevant Miami is, and how they don't consider us to be their rivals...

Gators lucky ash to have kept Baugh who is a very good rb, if not he may be playing for us this season. But he will stay up there and win 4 games this season
They probably win at least 5. Their schedule is weak. Don't let the SEC hype machine fool you. They have 4 tough opponents (Ole Miss, Texas, UGA, OU), 5 very bad/below average opponents (FAU, Campbell, SC, UK, FSU) and 3 mid/average opponents (Auburn, Mizzou, Vandy). Auburn could technically be considered a bad team. I felt they had some pieces and just found ways to lose last year. This isn't UF's 2024 schedule which was actually brutal.

Now, the wheels could come off after their first 3 conference games. At Auburn, Ole Miss at home, and at Mizzou. Neither Auburn or Mizzou are good, but they play better at home and will give UF fits. It's very possible SC could surprise them at home and then UK later in the season on the road. No, SC and UK are not good, but they are much better than FAU and Campbell.

Winning half with that talent is a failure imo

Well, Auburn is essentially the team that beat UF last year from Tampa.

If they can’t figure out their QB play and get consistent play more than 6 wins could be a struggle.

Agree, I think Auburn is going to beat them. I don't think UF has 5 easy wins. I think they play at least 5 opponents that I consider bad or below average. UF is better than SC and UK, but it's not a guaranteed win for them. I can see them losing at least one of those games. Vandy is an unknown. They lost a lot. It's also possible UF could surprise at least one of their "tough" games. I don't see any elite teams on that schedule.

Being as objective as possible, UF isn’t a bad team on paper. Most positions have some semblance of talent, but QB it’s such a major ?, I don’t know how that’ll work out.

If they get inconsistent play they’ll struggle. I mean that’s been our issue for the last 20 years outside the previous two seasons. I’m not sold on Philo or GT’s system they implementing for that matter. I’m sure they’ll be decent running the ball but that doesn’t win games against the better opponents who will take that away.

They still ain’t got depth.

With their apparent recruiting success this off-season, their fans are getting unrealistic. It is a great time to take some season-record bets from their fans..........................I have one significant bet at UF not winning 8 games or more. :cigar:

Is that bet with your BullGator partner?

Kentucky is their boogeyman so need to upgrade them on your list.

6-6

Highly likely. His BullGator partner is a ****-eyed optimist who drinks Gator-flavored Kool-Aid by the gallon.
While walking around in the office on game weekend Fridays in his Tebow or Doering jersey flipping people off.
