The only problem is because we don’t want to completely embarrass them we end up winning games 45-3 like we did last year against BCC. Then the national media paints it to appear more competitive than it was. We have nothing to gain by crushing an FCS school by 60 but the rest of the country sees a 35-40 point win as a weakness.

Let them think what they want to think. FSU crushed those FCS schools by 70 points and look how their season turned out. As long as we handle our business against the better teams on our schedule it will all work itself out.
 
So I get my alumni email today and there’s a lame article about UF being named one of the “new ivies” in Forbes magazine. I roll my eyes but figure I have to read this crap, so I click on the link anyway.
