Total delusion.

Even before the 2024 season began, any objective observer, with no dog in the hunt, could easily tell you that Cam was a much better QB, with a better history of production, and greater upside than Mr. 5-yard-out-and-a-cloud-of-dust Murda Mertz.

This is what I love about their idiot fans, they live in a world of delusion.

They think they are a blue blood program, when in fact, they are objectively the most under achieving major program in the history of college football.

There is no question about that.

I would defy any of their clown fans to dispute this.
We have our share of delusionals. From reading this board, we have the country's best QB, DL, OL, WR room.

Only recently those delusions have had some merit.

Not for you TOC, @Andrew and @DMoney , the post quoting on the site has reverted to the way it was 10 years ago on here. We really don’t want this. The only difference is it cuts off at just two posts.

Wait, what did I do? I didn't multi-quote, I think I just replied to someone. Or, at least I thought I did.

You know me, I'm not very tech savvy, though I can make a mean (static) meme...

I agree with you on the WR room. QB and DL will need to be established with on-field play. Not sure how OL even got onto that list. "Best-coached", probably, but "best room", no.

Yeah, we are probably going a bit far with some these position groups. Don't forget RB room. Some say that's the best.

In all seriousness, we aren't too far off with some of these.

QB - He is one of the best in the country. Top 3 for sure. Not delusion

DL- A little delusion here for sure. It should be really good. We got excellent players coming back in Moten and Scott, and also picked up some studs in the portal. Definitely a stretch to call this the country's best. Too much of this is based on potential from the rest of the group.

OL - Lot of delusion here to call it the best. This might be based off the last 2 years of play. Should still be very good and we know it will be well coached.

WR- Some delusion here. We obviously have the best slot receiver and playmaker in the country. That cannot be argued. Barkate is proven and we picked up some other solid receivers in the portal. Moore and Upshaw flashed in limited opportunities and have a ton of upside. Incoming freshman class highly rated, but haven't proved anything yet. I think it's a very talented and deep position group, but calling it the best is a stretch. Maybe it will be as the season plays out.

At least we aren't as delusional as the gators were last year at this time. Remember, they had the best QB, OL, and LB groups. I think FSU still has the best DL for the 5th straight year now.
